Experimental Investigation of Concrete Transverse Deformations at Relatively High Loading Rates for Interpretation of High Strength Concrete Behavior

چکیده

Loading rates affect the behavior of concrete specimens from beginning loading process until failure. At rather high rates, longitudinal deformations in under a compressive load are practically elastic up ultimate limit state. It has been previously demonstrated that transverse effectively indicate high-strength entire static range. A theoretical model for cylindrical specimen failure load, based on structural phenomenon, also proposed. The aim present research is experimental verification using addition to ones investigating at non-elastic stage.
